The Vandermeer Difference

Vandermeer Management elevates your commercial construction project with a deep understanding and a commitment to excellence. We appoint a team of expert design and construction professionals with diverse backgrounds and skillsets to ensure your project's success. Our approach begins with a meticulously planned schedule, breaking down the complex process into clear, manageable milestones.

Upon selection, we customize our management approach to align with your preferences— offering complete involvement or engagement solely for critical tasks, based on your needs. Every project is treated as if the budget and the building itself were our own, underscoring our unwavering dedication to cost-effectiveness and uncompromising quality.

Our Mission

We manage our clients' commercial construction projects with the same level of care and dedication as if they were our own, allowing them to concentrate on their core business activities.

Our Services

  • Each project kicks off with a discovery session with our client, where we dig deep to understand their program needs and budget considerations. Once we have a clear picture, we gather a team of design and construction professionals to set the stage for the project, including the program, schedule, and budget.

  • Tailored to each client's unique needs, Vandermeer Management offers a range of flexible approaches. We diligently oversee a series of design and budget evolutions to bring their vision to life, or we can collaborate on an efficient fast-track design, bid, and build strategy. Throughout this process, we expertly manage permitting and material procurement concurrently with the finalization of the design.

  • In the realm of daily construction management, Vandermeer Management plays a pivotal role as the owner's trusted representative. Our multifaceted approach encompasses oversight of design, construction, technology integration, and furniture requirements for the project.

  • At Vandermeer Management, we offer an extensive suite of close-out services, encompassing owner training on new equipment, meticulous record document turnover, comprehensive contract finalization, and financial closure. Though this administrative process may appear daunting, it plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing the success of the project.

Company Leadership

Owner, Bert van der Meer oversees the company with 20 years of experience in the construction industry and the management of projects ranging from small commercial restorations to Atlanta's Mercedes Benz stadium. After graduating from the University of Florida's Rinker School of Construction Management, Bert joined Holder Construction where he managed multi-million-dollar projects throughout the Southeast region of the United States. In 2019 Bert came home to Atlanta to help develop Trident Construction Group where he facilitated over 100% company growth.

Throughout Bert’s career he continued to recognize a common theme with successful construction projects: excellent owner representation.  It was this appreciation that led to the formation of Vandermeer Management where Bert continues to pursue his passion for building by leading projects on behalf of his clients.
