Project Description

A transformative regional initiative aimed at expanding public riverfront access from Buford Dam to Southwest Metro Atlanta. A key component is the development of a 12-acre regional trailhead in Mableton, Georgia, transforming a former industrial site into a vibrant public space focused on outdoor recreation, ecological restoration, and community connection. The project also includes a 110-foot pre-fabricated steel bicycle and pedestrian bridge over Nickajack Creek to connect Gateway Park with Discovery Park.

Contracted to provide Owner’s Representation services, leading program development, managing the design teams, and overseeing the collaborative procurement and construction process in close partnership with Cobb County.
