Project Description
A transformative expansion and revitalization of Atlanta's iconic Piedmont Park, designed to enhance public access, introduce new recreational experiences, and strengthen the park's connection to the surrounding community. The comprehensive improvement program encompasses three major initiatives: relocating the existing maintenance yard to reclaim valuable space near park entrances; creating Clear Creek Walk, an elevated boardwalk-style trail winding through the tree canopy with connections to the creek below; and developing Piedmont Commons, a new urban gateway featuring concessions, an adventure trail, a rock scramble, two playgrounds, and expansive lawns for community gatherings and events.
